Sister Mwanahawa
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,
As you can see from the photos, the living conditions of Mwanahawa Ramadhan, a 70-year-old mother in Mbagala Rangi 3, House No. 2, Mchikichi Street, Dar es Salaam, are deeply distressing. My mother came across her while distributing zakat and was heartbroken by what she saw.
Mwanahawa is caring for three children under very difficult circumstances. Asha Amiri is mentally unwell, and Shomer Amiri is paralyzed in both legs and hands. Her other children, Salama and Hassan, also live with her.
We are now trying to raise TSh 7,184,500 (approx. £2,150 GBP) to help restore and rebuild her home. This includes TSh 1,500,000 for labour and TSh 5,684,500 for materials.
This is more than a construction project, it’s an opportunity for Sadaqah Jaariyah, to uplift a struggling family and bring ease to a mother who has given everything for her children.

May Allah accept every contribution and bless you all for your generosity. Ameen.
