Rebuild Syria – A Place to Call Home

The Syrian conflict, now in its 14th year, has created one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises.

Over 12 million Syrians have been forcibly displaced—7.2 million within Syria and 6.2 million as refugees in neighbouring countries.
16.7 million people require humanitarian aid—a 9% increase from last year.
7.5 million children are in desperate need of support.

For years, families have been trapped in a cycle of displacement, forced to live in temporary shelters, tents, and unstable conditions. But temporary is not enough. It’s time to rebuild beyond homes, rebuilding Syria means to take a powerful stance and rebuild its future.

Why Rebuilding Syria is Important

Every parent yearns for their child to stay safe and warm. Unfortunately for the children of Syria this entitlement has been stripped away by the oppressors.

Now standing on its 14th year, Syria has been eradicated by the torments of Israeli government, causing one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises.

Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran:

Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, when they sat by it (fire), and they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). [Surah Al-Burooj, 5-7]

This verse from Surah Al-Burooj (85:5-7) refers to the people of the ditch (Ashab al-Ukhdud), a historical incident where believers were thrown into a fire by oppressive rulers for their faith. The verse highlights the cruelty of those who not only persecuted the believers but also sat and watched their suffering without remorse.

Syria has endured years of devastation, leaving countless families without homes, clean water, or medical aid. The destruction has shattered lives, but with your generosity, we can rebuild communities and restore hope.

And just as the people of the ditch were destroyed by Allah’s divine justice, all oppressors will ultimately face His reckoning, either in this world or the Hereafter.

Although we are aware that Allah’s promise is true, we will also be held accountable regarding our contributions towards the oppressed. Take this opportunity to donate to Syria.

Allah reminds us in the Quran:
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing." [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261]
